everything is spinning in two's and fours.

you and me, coming and going.

the afternoon was spent and we gave up the dawn
in taxes. i was playing south and you were north;
orbitting and moving with a stare that could
even hold pluto in his tracks.
i couldn't wait and you couldn't move.

now there is nothing
left.

like two winds colliding we clapsed winter
with frostbitten hands: white flurries
and blue lips to touch.

we were once explorers like columbus and
galileo, mapping our footprints while stumbling upon angels.
underneath the snow we banked on moments as
i constructed maps of your iris's and you claimed
to have found eden in decemeber.

we were going to be famous you know.

in the atomspheric flames.
